A little introduction..

Hi there, it’s been a long time since I introduced myself on here and as we have lots of new followers I thought I’d say hello 👋🏻

I’m Claire, a proud single & solo mum to my wonderful 21-year-old son, we live in Sale and Minikin Jnr attended the brilliant Park Rd the Altrincham College.., he’s now off living his best life at Leeds University!

In 2010, I decided to take a leap of faith and leave the corporate world behind to pursue my passion for art and community. That’s when I opened Minikin Art Cafe in Sale, and I couldn’t be happier with that decision!

From the moment I opened the doors, Minikin has become a vibrant part of the Sale community. One of the most rewarding aspects of my journey has been getting to know so many incredible local families. We’ve built friendships that feel more like family, and it warms my heart to see my Art Studio become a welcoming space for everyone.

At Minikin, I’m passionate about making art accessible to people of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re an experienced artist or someone just looking to explore your creativity, there’s something here for you. We offer pottery painting, baby hand & feet impressions, art and clay workshops, birthday parties and even special sessions tailored for individuals with special educational needs. I’m particularly proud of our in-house women’s ADHD group, which provides a supportive environment for women to connect, share, and thrive.

It’s been incredibly fulfilling to create a space where everyone can express themselves and celebrate their unique talents.

If you’re ever in the area, I’d love for you to stop by, grab a coffee, and unleash your creative spirit! You can find details of what we do and book a session on our website 🎨

See you soon, Claire xx
