Minikin Art Cafe Relocates to Sale Moor Village: A New Chapter in Community Creativity!

Minikin Art Cafe, a beloved staple of the Sale community since 2010, is thrilled to announce its relocation to a new home in the heart of Sale Moor village! Beginning 22nd January, Minikin will be opening its doors in the charming old carpet shop, just three doors down from Taylor’s Butchers.

Founded by Claire, Minikin has spent the last 14 years nurturing strong relationships with local families, charities, and organisations, becoming a cherished gathering place for creativity and connection. With this exciting move, Claire is eager to enhance all the special elements that make Minikin a magical destination for art enthusiasts of all ages and abilities.

“I’m incredibly excited to bring Minikin to Sale Moor,” Claire shares. “This village holds a special place in my heart, as I grew up here. I can’t wait to see my dad pop in for his daily cuppas and to welcome customers from near and far, contributing to the vibrant local business community.”

The new location will not only allow Minikin to expand its offerings but also provide a dedicated community space. Claire is committed to strengthening ties with local charities, including Home Instead and Trafford Carers, to support clients and create meaningful connections. Additionally, Minikin is excited to grow its ADHD support group, introducing a weekly ‘body doubling’ and support session, with plans to extend this initiative to youngsters and their parents throughout the year.

In addition to its signature services—pottery painting, baby imprints, and unforgettable parties—Minikin will also collaborate with local artists to host creative workshops. Evening hours will be extended, providing a unique opportunity for adults to unwind and enjoy creative therapy with their favorite bottle in hand.

Of course, no visit to Minikin would be complete without indulging in their delicious coffee, milkshakes, and scrumptious cakes.

Join us as we embark on this new adventure in Sale Moor village. We can’t wait to welcome you to our new home and continue to foster creativity, community, and connection.

Until then we will continue to run Birthday parties and events in our Cross Street home, also opening on Saturdays which we spend the week getting our new home ready to welcome you all!
